As a Senior Account Manager, Allison Billups maintains high-quality customer service for existing clients and develops new partnerships within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Specifically, she screens and refers qualified candidates to clients with open contract positions, arranging interviews and communicating feedback to clients and recruiters.
Allison joined the company in 2000 as a Recruiter and earned promotions to Team Leader in 2002, Account Manager in 2006, and Senior Account Manager in 2006. She dedicates herself to building last relationships that will be beneficial for her clients, candidates, and consultants.
Allison's staffing and healthcare background prepared her for success with our company. Before joining us, she gained valuable experience with another large staffing company for two years as a Recruiter and Account Manager. She also worked as a pharmaceutical representative for a top-10 pharmaceutical company for a year, where she learned about clinical trial processes and the amount of time and effort it takes to research a potential drug and see it through a full cycle where it can be marketed. She also became familiar with the lingo of the pharmaceutical industry.
Allison earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing at Florida State University, where she also minored in Communications.
Allison has been a member of the Smith Hanley / inVentiv Clinical President's Circle, a milestone for account managers and recruiters who achieve a high level of success, since 2003.
