Mishka L. Symonette-Jamison
Director of Recruiting
As the Director of Recruiting, Mishka Symonette-Jamison oversees the development and mentorship of an entire recruiting division. Her primary objective involves the development of training and retention initiatives while focusing on the quality of service provided to consultants. Her goal is to ensure that each consultant choosing to work with Smith Hanley receives the highest level of service available.
Mishka joined our company in 2002 as a Principal Recruiter and earned a promotion to Senior Recruiter and Team Leader in 2005. She works passionately to help candidates identify opportunities that will offer both personal and professional development. Demonstrating concern, respect, and professionalism to each client and candidate with whom she interacts, Mishka's goal is to encourage candidates to view her service as a resource that enables them to enhance their career opportunities.
Mishka gained applicable experience as an Information Technology Recruiter for an executive search firm for four years before joining our company. She also acquired a valuable healthcare background as a Human Resources Generalist for a local healthcare and rehabilitation center for two years.
Mishka earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Development at the University of Central Florida and is in the process of completing a Master of Business Administration Degree at the University of Central Florida. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
Mishka was honored in 2006 when she became a part of the Smith Hanley / inVentiv Clinical President's Circle, a milestone for account managers and recruiters who achieve a certain level of success.
